If you are traveling up the mountain from Chattaonoga, you may have to find a place to turnaround because the parking is on the opposite side of the road. Parking for the trailhead is at a small roadside pullout lot on Ochs Highway. The point of this hike is to see the falls, nothing more, so there is no compelling reason to hike the entire length of the trail. The rocky terrain on the trail became damaged and unstable.
